Jaipur: With the tourism season set to begin in Rajasthan from October 1, the Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced a major simplification for foreign tourists staying at hotels.
Earlier, hotels were required to collect 36 types of information from foreign tourists through Form-C. Following a request from the Jaipur Hotel Association, the Ministry has replaced Form-C with Form-III, reducing the required details to just 17.
Jaipur Hotel Association President Dilip Tiwari and Secretary Vipul Maini said the simplified process would make hotel check-ins more convenient for foreign visitors.
The association said the move is expected to encourage tourism not only in Rajasthan but across the country.
