KOTA: Motion Education’s Foundation Division organised Motion Raas-Garba Night 2026 at its Dhruv Campus, where students enjoyed an evening of traditional dance, music and festive celebrations. The event began at 6 pm and continued late into the night, with students enthusiastically participating in Garba and Dandiya.
Students from Dhruv, Drona-1, Dadabari, Shrinathpuram and Govind Nagar campuses attended the event dressed in traditional attire. Colourful ghagra-cholis, kurta-pyjamas and vibrant dupattas added to the festive atmosphere as students performed traditional Garba to rhythmic beats and lively music. The celebrations began with the beats of the dhol and gradually moved to modern DJ tracks, with students participating in Dandiya and group dances.
Motion Education Founder and CEO Nitin Vijay also joined the celebrations and performed Garba with the students. His participation further boosted their enthusiasm. Students from junior to senior levels took part in the event, enjoying an opportunity to interact with one another through cultural activities.
Motion Education Director Dr Swati Vijay said that cultural and recreational activities, alongside academics, play an important role in the overall development of students. Such events create a positive environment, enhance students’ confidence and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents.
Students from different parts of the country studying at Motion Education participated in the celebration. For many, it was their first experience of Garba and Dandiya. Describing the event as memorable, students said that such programmes offer a welcome break from studies while helping them connect with fellow students.
The event concluded with a grand group Dandiya dance, as students came together to celebrate the festive spirit. The programme created an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm across the campus, bringing together traditional culture, music and the spirit of togetherness.
